Cant do online Update Error

Spybot 1.5.1.15 installed on W98SE

I just upgraded spybotSD from 1.4 to 1.5 on this machine
and have done a successful manual update.

But if I attempt an on line update the updater (not the main program) crashes on exiting the exception message a further (program) error message is shown indication 'Richedit insertion error'
I have tried reinstalling from the same downloaded installer no change.

That should fix your problem.

I also encounter the same error with 1.5.2 final on windows 98 both with the updater and when selecting items in a list in the main application. What version of RichEdit does the latest version of Spybot - S&D require? 2.0? 4.1? Where can we find it since MS doesn't seem to have it avail for d/l anymore...?
