Colleagues and I, think we may have the advaced keylogger malware in our machines. I use spybot and adaware for protection. Can you check form the attached file and see if there is something suspicious please?
Also, I try to have teatimer as resident by checking the correponding box, but apparently it doesnt stay resident, next time I check spybot settings, the checkbox is unchecked.
    Thx

This implies that you are in a business environment.

If your employer (at least in the United States) placed the software on his system to monitor your activities, he has a right to do it. Removing software placed on the system by your employer may be a violation of your employment contract, code of conduct or at the very least your "at will" employment status.

Please be careful if the computer in question belongs to your employer !!!

Getting an answer is one thing, learning is another.

Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition running on a 2.40GHz IntelŪ PentiumŪ 4 Processor with 512 MB of RAM and a 533 MHz System Bus.

    Hello.

There seems to be a trend regarding Advanced Keylogger.
http://forums.spybot.info/showthread...0944#post10944 as well as the topic I split yours off from:
    http://forums.spybot.info/showthread.php?t=2260

All of you mention Pest Control.

In order to take a closer look at the system:

Please go here and follow instructions.
Before you post a log, and who will advise you.

    Start a topic here:
    Malware Forum

Someone will then take a look and advise you as soon as available to do so.

    Regards.
