The main lingering symptoms I have are:

My desktop is hijacked it reads "Warning spyware detected on your computer! Install antivirus or spyware remover to clean your computer. View the list of top spyware removers here" that last sentence is a link I guess.

Also I'm getting a few popups and I keep getting an error message that says "sachostm.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."

    Please help! :(

Microsoft.com seems to think I'm infected with W32/Loosky.gen@MM

it's not in the add/remove programs list. :(

    Hi

Run an updated SpyBot 1.4, ewido and your updated antivirus program while the pc is in safe mode (i do not see an antivirus program)

    Install Ewido AntiMalware
    http://www.ewido.net/en/download/
Launch Ewido, there should be an icon on your desktop, double-click it.
The program will now open to the main screen.
You will need to update Ewido to the latest definition files.
On the left hand side of the main screen click update.
    Then click on Start Update.
The update will start and a progress bar will show the updates being installed. (the status bar at the bottom will display "Update successful")
Note: Your firewall may say "Antimalware wants to access the internet" It may not say Ewido.
If you are having problems with the updater, you can use this link to manually update Ewido.
    Ewido manual updates
    http://www.ewido.net/en/download/updates/
When the trial runs out you can continue to use the program but without its resident protection.

Close the program, do not run a scan yet

How to Reboot into safe mode Click here if needed For instructions.

When running Ewido Click on scanner.
Click on Complete System Scan and the scan will begin.
If Ewido finds anything, it will pop up a notification. You can select "remove" and check the boxes "Perform action with all infections" and "Create encrypted backup" before clicking on OK.

After all the scans restart back to normal , once back make then post a new hiajckthis log please...

ok I ran anti-malware in safe mode and adaware again, and I finally got my antivirus to install (was having probs with it). They did find alot of stuff and appear to have gotten rid of what they found but there still seems to be some things lingering (My desktop is still hijacked with a fake spyware warning).

Here is a new hijackthis log:

    Looks much better
Start Hijackthis and place a check next to these items If there.
Close all browser windows and shut down all other programs that show in the taskbar.(even Folders)
