Install problems
I am trying to install Spybot S&D on a friends computer. It stops at the install screen with the error message "error sending request a connection with the server could not be established" Internet and emails work OK so I do have an internet connection and Nortons updates as well.
In Spybot 1.4, SpybotSD.exe must be authorized to access the internet through the firewall. In Spybot 1.5, SDUpdate.exe must be authorized to access the internet through the firewall.
Getting an answer is one thing, learning is another.
Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition running on a 2.40GHz IntelŪ PentiumŪ 4 Processor with 512 MB of RAM and a 533 MHz System Bus.
