Hello,

The problem is that since some registries were created to call amvo.exe from the Windows startup, the msconfig utlility shows that amvo.exe is one of the files which it tries to load when the machine starts, thus it is in the startup list. I unchecked it from the msconfig utility but then every time I start my machine it tells me that the System startup in in selective mode. If I do the opposite, and check amvo.exe so that the msconfig is in its original mode, then it tries to find amvo and it shows me a message telling me that amvo cannot be found. So I have this window opening every time I start the computer.

My poor guess would be that there are still registries which should be changed. Any clue.

So far it seems to have worked. There is however one strange thing: I still see something in the registries related to amvo.exe.

By seeing the Startup list I still see that amvo is called by the System on its start up (path: C:\WINDOWS\system32\amvo.exe).

And in the registries, I still see one with the name amva (yes, with an "a" instead of an "o"), type REG_SZ. Which calls this amvo.exe in system32.

This is the location of the registry:

HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run

I tried to do what you indicated in the link, but I did not have an option in the Startup tab as "Restore Startup Programs ". So I could not restore anything and then this stays as I mention.

My guess is that I should erase that registry. I will wait for your answer.
