Default Where can I download Spybot 1.4?

Can you please tell me where I can download
the Spybot 1.4 ( One point "Four" ) install file.

I don't see a link to Download 1.4 anywhere, only links for the new 1.5

I installed 1.5.2.20, but a scan took Five And A Half Hours.
In 1.4 my scan time was always approx one hour.
I posted 4 days ago, about it here:
    http://forums.spybot.info/showthread...ownload+spybot
but as of now there's been no reply,
so for now I would like to uninstall 1.5 and go back to 1.4, until hopefully I find out why it took so much longer to complete a scan.

    Thank you

    Smile Me Too ! !

Thanks for the version 1.4 link. I am having the same issue regarding the length of time except mine is more along the lines of 6.5 hours. (Lots of gigs to scan)

I would LOVE to know why the newest version takes 400% longer to scan as well, so, I ask:

Why does the Version 1.5 take so much longer to scan than the previous versions?

I have been using and recommending SBS&D for years. This version creates a high load on my CPU for HOURS (and hours) and causes me to pause.

If this question is answered on the forums somewhere else, tell me to search more or please, please answer.

    Thanks.

Problem magically went away after I used my air compressor on my VERY dirty system. Dust flew out/off of my powersupply, CPU, installed cards, drives, ports... Apparently I should clean it every 6 months and not just yearly. Maybe get it off the floor too.

    <stupid me>

I also DE-selected the "Rerun checks after fixing problems" inside of settings

    ----OLD Scheduled task run time----
    "Spybot.job" (SpybotSD.exe)
    Started 2/10/2008 4:30:06 AM
    "Spybot.job" (SpybotSD.exe)
    Finished 2/10/2008 1:29:40 PM
Result: The task completed with an exit code of (0).
    ----NEW Scheduled task run time--------
    "Spybot.job" (SpybotSD.exe)
    Started 2/13/2008 4:30:02 AM
    "Spybot.job" (SpybotSD.exe)
    Finished 2/13/2008 4:54:47 AM
Result: The task completed with an exit code of (0).

    What a difference

Regarding v1.4........I am still using it and will continue to do so, but I had another thread started about the immunization issue with 1.4.

Thought I could just add it here instead.

When I took the updates from Wednesday, (2/13) I noticed the immunizations went from 41692 down to 41678.

That seems unusual for that figure to go down as opposed to up, as it always has in the past.

My scans with 1.4 usually take about 90 minutes.

Yes it went down slightly and it has happened before, although rarely (the last time I noticed it was 2007-08-08).

Getting an answer is one thing, learning is another.
