Hello - When TeaTimer starts, it loads Windows Explorer pointing at the Spybot directory. I think TeaTimer is a good thing to install but I do not want Explorer to start when I boot. How can I load TeaTimer without getting Explorer to also start?

I have heard of this happening if the default installation folder was renamed after installation. Is Spybot installed in the following directory?
- C:\Program Files\Spybot - Search & Destroy

Yes, that is the name of my directory.
If you indicate thay you never renamed a Spybot installation directory, than I don't know why this would occur.
The only thing that I can suggest is that you completely uninstall Spybot including using this very small fix from the following WEB page to clean up registry entries:

Then reinstall.
