Welcome to Safer Networking, I wish to be sure you have viewed and understand this information.
"BEFORE you POST" (READ this Procedure before Requesting Assistance)
    http://forums.spybot.info/showthread.php?t=288
All advice given is taken at your own risk.
Please make sure you have read this information so we are on the same page.
Make sure you have seen this information:
Note: In notepad under Format, uncheck "Word Wrap" Produce all HJT logs like this, single spaced.
single-spaced - (of type or print) not having a blank space between lines.
You are infected, I suggest you keep this computer offline except when troubleshooting, the junk may download more. If you have any tool I use, delete it and download it new from the link I provide. Read and follow the directions carefully, the tools will not work unless you do.
I need to do some research first.

    1) You cut off the header of your KOS, I need to see that information, post it:
    KASPERSKY ONLINE SCANNER REPORT
    Wednesday, March 12, 2008 10:51:27 AM
Operating System: Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition, Service Pack 2 (Build 2600)
    Kaspersky Online Scanner version: 5.0.98.0
Kaspersky Anti-Virus database last update: 12/03/2008
    Kaspersky Anti-Virus database records: 625265
    Scan Settings:
Scan using the following antivirus database: extended
    Scan Archives: true
    Scan Mail Bases: true

    Scan Target - My Computer:

    Scan Statistics:
Total number of scanned objects: 129106
    Number of viruses found: 43
    Number of infected objects: 108
    Number of suspicious objects: 2

    2) http://siri.geekstogo.com/SmitfraudFix.php <<< download Smitfraudfix from here and follow ONLY these directions.

    Search:
    Double-click SmitfraudFix.exe
Select 1 and hit Enter to create a report of the infected files. The report can be found at the root of the system drive, usually at C:\rapport.txt

Note: process.exe is detected by some antivirus programs (AntiVir, Dr.Web, Kaspersky) as a "RiskTool". It is not a virus, but a program used to stop system processes. Antivirus programs cannot distinguish between "good" and "malicious" use of such programs, therefore they may alert the user.
    http://www.beyondlogic.org/consultin...rocessutil.htm

Post the C:\rapport.txt and the KOS header.

    Thanks

Thanks for the KOS information. You need to read and follow all directions carefully, I posted:
If you have any tool I use, delete it and download it new from the link I provide.
The current version of Smitfraudfix is 2.306 (March 21, 2008)
and you have posted a C:\rapport.txt from version SmitFraudFix v2.301

We may not have a Smitfraud infection, but before I can rule it out I need to see information from the newest version. Uninstall the version you used and download it again from the link I posted, then post a new C:\rapport.txt.

    Thanks

    Thanks for returning your information.

    1) Delete Smitfraudfix from your computer.

    2) See this: http://forums.spybot.info/showpost.p...80&postcount=2
    C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.6.0_03\ <<< update Java

    3) Kaspersky says these files are infected, you can scan them here to be sure:
    http://virusscan.jotti.org/
Delete them if you find they are infected.
    C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\My Documents\Home stuff\keyfinder.exe
    C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\My Documents\Microsoft stuff\produkey.zip
    C:\Program Files\mIRC\mirc.exe

    4) Thanks to andymanchesta and anyone else who helped with the fix.

Download SDFix and save it to your Desktop
    http://downloads.andymanchesta.com/R...ools/SDFix.exe

Double click SDFix.exe and it will extract the files to %systemdrive%
(Drive that contains the Windows Directory, typically C:\SDFix)

Please then reboot your computer in Safe Mode by doing the following :
    Restart your computer
    After hearing your computer beep once during startup, but before the Windows icon appears, tap the F8 key continually;
    Instead of Windows loading as normal, the Advanced Options Menu should appear;
Select the first option, to run Windows in Safe Mode, then press Enter.
    Choose your usual account.
Open the extracted SDFix folder and double click RunThis.bat to start the script.
Type Y to begin the cleanup process.
It will remove any Trojan Services and Registry Entries that it finds then prompt you to press any key to Reboot.
Press any Key and it will restart the PC.
When the PC restarts the Fixtool will run again and complete the removal process then display Finished, press any key to end the script and load your desktop icons.
Once the desktop icons load the SDFix report will open on screen and also save into the SDFix folder as Report.txt
(Report.txt will also be copied to Clipboard ready for posting back on the forum).
Finally post the contents of the Report.txt back on the forum with a new HijackThis log

(wait until we finish to post reports and logs)

    5) Please download ATF Cleaner by Atribune
    http://www.atribune.org/public-beta/ATF-Cleaner.exe
Save it to your Desktop. We will use this later.

    6) Open HijackThis and choose "Do a system scan only" then check the box in front of these line items:

    R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer,SearchURL = http://magicsearch.us/browser/
    R3 - URLSearchHook: (no name) - ~EF99BD32-C1FB-11D2-892F-0090271D4F88} - (no file)

    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [NapsterShell] C:\Program Files\Napster\napster.exe /systray
    O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [MSI Configuration] msiconf.exe

Close all programs but HJT and all browser windows, then click on "Fix Checked"

    7) Run ATF Cleaner
Double-click ATF-Cleaner.exe to run the program.
Click Select All found at the bottom of the list.
    Click the Empty Selected button.
Click Exit on the Main menu to close the program.

Restart and post the report from SDFix, a new HJT log and some feedback from you.

    Thanks

    Hi,
I had problems completing what you provided but finally got into safe mode and I think I did everything properly. However, after completing I did get hijacked again. I wasn't suprised as I read on another tech site that another user has had similar problems after also using SB assistance. Reports are 1107381 characters where only 20000 are allowed. here is the hjt only. Please let me know what to do with SDfix report. It has a lot of the following:

Thanks for the HJT log, hold that SDFix report, I would like to see it but it was used to remove only one trojan. If I need to see it, I will have you email it to me.

This is the one item left in the HJT log:
    O2 - BHO: (no name) - {1403659C-62D6-4388-92CB-B6E4FC29616F} - C:\WINDOWS\system32\btsendto_offic.dll

I have never seen it before. As you can see Google has not seen it a lot either:
    http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q...=Google+Search

Make sure all files and folders are enabled:
    http://www.xtra.co.nz/help/0,,4155-1916458,00.html

Use one or more of these free online scans to see what the file is:
    http://virusscan.jotti.org/
    http://www.kaspersky.com/scanforvirus
    http://www.virustotal.com/
    File to scan: C:\WINDOWS\system32\btsendto_offic.dll

Please get that infomation before we try to remove it:

    Let's try this first:

Open HijackThis and choose "Do a system scan only" then check the box in front of these line items:

    O2 - BHO: (no name) - {1403659C-62D6-4388-92CB-B6E4FC29616F} - C:\WINDOWS\system32\btsendto_offic.dll

Close all programs but HJT and all browser windows, then click on "Fix Checked"

How to use the Delete on Reboot tool
    http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tuto...42.html#delreb
    Start Hijackthis
    Click on the Config button
Click on the Misc Tools button
Click on the button labeled Delete a file on reboot...
A new window will open asking you to select the file that you would like to delete on reboot. Navigate to the file: C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\btsendto_offic.dll and click on it once, and then click on the Open button.
You will now be asked if you would like to reboot your computer to delete the file. Click on the Yes button if you would like to reboot now.

Post a new HJT log along with the information from the scan.

    Thanks

    Default File not deleting

First, thanks so much for your prompt help and sorry this is such a bugger.
Here is the virus scan results and the HJT log. HJT says it's deleting the file but then the file reappears upon reboot. Also, sorry for image in virus scan results but didn't see another way to save them.
