1) C:\Program Files\Grisoft\AVG Anti-Spyware 7.5\ <<< do you own this program? If not, either turn it off or uninstall it.

2) C:\Program Files\Sunbelt Software\CounterSpy\ <<< do you own this program?

C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.6.0_03\ <<< check your Java program for an update, there should be one. Then look in Add Remove programs and uninstall any old versions.

4) C:\Documents and Settings\DenisL\Bureau\HiJackThis.exe <<< if you must run HJT from the Desktop, make a folder, call it HJT and move the HJT.exe, the log that is there into that folder. Backups for safety will also store there. It will look like this:
C:\Documents and Settings\DenisL\Bureau\HJT\HiJackThis.exe

5) How to make files and folders visible:
Click Start > Open My Computer.
Select the Tools menu and click Folder Options.
Select the View Tab. Under the Hidden files and folders heading, select Show hidden files and folders.
Uncheck: Hide file extensions for known file types
Uncheck the Hide protected operating system files (recommended) option.
Click Yes to confirm. Click OK.
You may reverse this for safety when we are finished.

6) Please download ATF Cleaner by Atribune
http://www.atribune.org/content/view/25/2/
Save it to your Desktop. We will use this later.

7) Open HijackThis and choose "Do a system scan only" then check the box in front of these line items:

Here are the info and actions i did following your last post:

1- Grisoft\avg anti spyware is a freeware that i installed and used occasionnaly as anti virus and anti spyware protection. I installed it following suggestions made in thread by Tony Klein ¨so how did i got infected in the first place?¨ The icon of this program always apears in the notification zone at sstart up but the program is always disabled unless i choose to run a scan with it. I have chose this set-up so i do not have 2 anti virus running at the same time.

I uninstalled it. Tell me if i should reinstall it later.

2- Sunbelt software\Counterspy\ is a trial freeware version that i downloaded and installed following the link you gave me on your first post regarding Lop/C2 media. I realise now that i missunderstood your instructions. You probaly gave me that link for the infos about the infection not the tool located at this site. Sorry my mistake. FYI no logs available for the scans; i run it twice. On the first scan it did find a Lop/c2 media associated with messenger plus and removed it. Second scan came out with no risks detected. Again sorry about that.

Waiting for your instructions if i should uninstall it.


3- Java updated to 6.04


4,5,6 and 7- Done as asked.

8- When i tried to delete Meal memo free view i got this message : ¨cannot delete pile1.exe ... used by another person or program¨. I checked after the reeboot and the hjt log and evrething is still there.

Did see the second folder but without the -1 in the names:(C:\Documents and setting\DenisL\application data\Fastgreydead\)
I did nothing with it.

BTW All files in that folder are recent ( Feb 10 and 14) I do not know what this is neither my young son who use this pc everyday. Should i do something with those files?

Thanks for the feedback, AVG Anti-Spyware 7.5 is a good freeware program and we use it a lot. Just be aware that once the trial is over you get no benefit from it running at all except resource use and slower boot times. The same applies to all trial programs that I am aware of.
I have not moved to the new Ad-aware yet so I can not comments of what the new version does to boot times.
You HJT log looks fine, great job following those complex directions

Would you run a last Kaspersky Online Scan using these setting to be sure. There is no need to post a clean scan results. You should also remove NoLop from your computer if you have not done so.

* The program will launch and then begin downloading the latest definition files:
* Once the files have been downloaded click on NEXT
* Now click on Scan Settings
* In the scan settings make that the following are selected:
* Scan using the following Anti-Virus database:
* Standard
* Scan Options:
* Scan Archives
* Scan Mail Bases
* Click OK
* Now under select a target to scan:
* Select My Computer
* This will program will start and scan your system.
* The scan will take a while so be patient and let it run.
* Once the scan is complete it will display if your system has been infected.
* Now click on the Save as Text button:
* Save the file to your desktop.

I'll post this information for you now so you can benefit from it.
