    Default Immunize in update?

Well, I recently got the update for all of everything. I saw an Immunization thing from 2005(?). I was wondering did anyone else download this update? is it supposed to be there? should I un-install and then quick re-install?

Is it possible that you are mistaken about the date?

There is an update dated 2007-07-25 for the "Immunization database" which populates the CLSIDs.sbs file and is the input for the immunization items listed as "Internet Explorer (Plugins)".
    • Immunization database - Updated Immunization database (546 KB) - 2007-07-25

To the best of my knowledge that is the current file.

The "Internet Explorer (Plugins)" immunization protects against the download/execution of certain ActiveX processes known to be malicious. If you want more protection in this area, I suggest you consider using SpywareBlaster from Javacool Software in addition to Spybot's immunization.

Getting an answer is one thing, learning is another.
