I read on a site that the bhut jolokia's measures about 1,000,000 on the Scoville scale.

I read online that a couple of ligers have happened accidentally in captivity, though I'm not sure how legit what I was reading was. But, yeah, generally not a natural occurrence, and it says it doesn't happen in the wild because of geography, and also it would result in less fit offspring.
