I really can't see it happening in nature, different breeds of cats like that usually avoid each other because a grown lion can kill them so easily.
But, if science says it can happen I'm not going to say it can't.

Seems like that can either make an animal more aggressive? or passive?, not knowing what species it belongs to?

I read that ligers are usually less aggressive than their normal counterparts. Male ligers are usually sterile. National Geographic has an article about ligers and other hybrids, and it points out some of the downsides to it:

This article has a picture of Hercules, who is a liger, and he's also in the Guinness Book of World Records:

If I had seen just the picture online, without an article, I would have thought it was photoshopped.

It messes up genetics greatly. If it were meant to be it would be something happening in the wild instead of being created in a controlled environment.

    I'm not the boss.

I saw Hercules, oh my stars!

I agree. The only way I think it would be okay is if it was an extinction situation, and even then I'd worry about a hybrid's overall fitness. If lions and tigers came from the same animal at one time, they probably split off millions of years ago. But that's just my opinion, I could be wrong.

Some humans have a small percentage of neanderthal dna, so maybe some of us are sort of hybrids, or at least our ancestors sort of would be. Kinda cool, when you think of it.
