    My thread was closed when I got the flu and didn't respond within 5 days. Wretched virus, that flu. Anyway, I dowloaded recovery console and ran the programs you suggested. The final program said that there was nothing to rename and it didn't provide a log. Everything has been running clean and fast and nothing untoward pops up. Thank you for your help!

    Hi Kat, glad to hear all is running well, but not glad to hear you were sick I can't remember if I posted closing information so I will do so again. I will leave this topic open for a day or so in case a question comes up.
