How long from the time you "Search" for updates until you get the "No newer updates available" message (just a few seconds or 30 seconds)?

Getting an answer is one thing, learning is another.

If you go into Spybot > Help > About, what is date of the "Latest detection update"?

I do not understand what problem you are trying to describe.

    Asus L3500TP:

I thought you had a real problem with updates. You already reported the problem with the green progress bar in this thread:

    Why start a new thread?

    Because : here : http://forums.spybot.info/project.php?issueid=199

Are you sure your issue is in any way related to the issue this entry is about?

    This issue is about:
    1. silent mode (/taskbarhide), used only in scheduling.
    2. the updater only.

Your screen and description sounds like:
    1. you manually choose to update, which is not scheduled and not invisible.
    2. the screenshots seems to indicate you're doing it from the main application, not the updater.

Resumé: the problem you have and the problem this is about seem to be completely different! Maybe you should post your problem in the regular part of the forum and we'll continue discussion there to not fill this issue with unrelated stuff

So I write better my question here.

Sorry, didn't know there was a topic about it already.
Put that on my todo list and will check.
