    Default Problem with Update 2/24

Reopening SpyBot after it was closed and after the Update the number for Bad Products blocked is 8984. After Immunizing it goes to 8993. Upon closing and reopening it continually reverts to 8984. Obviously this is due to the download.

Saw your post and downloaded latest updates and then closed and reopened several times-my immunize remains at 8993.

Just saw this discussion by MD USA(can't immunize 12 items)-it might pertain to you:

    balo228:

It appears that you may be running some other software that is preventing/removing the immunization of 9 items in the Registry. What other anti-spyware or cookie handling software do you run?

Getting an answer is one thing, learning is another.

It suddenly "fixed" itself. At first I thought it might be a conflict with SpySweeper and closed it down when Immunizing. That did not help. The only other program running in the background is SpywareBlaster. Meanwhile, after a few more attempts the total Immunization took place and held.

SpySweeper does cause problems with both Spybot's immunization and SpywareBlaster's protection.

    Examples:

    Spybot:
    Full immunization

    SpywareBlaster:
    unprotected items
