    Default asecureforum

Brand new to the forum here and so I'm not sure if this is the place to post this, but if not let me know please.

I was wondering if anyone had gotten anything that leads them to the following sites. If Spybot can get this off of my computer I shall sing its praises to the Heavens forever.

http://asecureforum.com/ (My homepage got hijacked for this crappy site and it installed a toolbar on my internet browswer)

http://www.antispyshield.com/?advid=177 (There is a yellow alert bubble that pops up from an icon in the lower right hand corner of my computer that leads to this site)

http://www.malwarewar.com/?aid=257 (part of the toolbar that got installed leads to this site)

Any advise on this would be much appreciated or a direction in which to go to get said good advise. Thank you to all you very nice people.

    Hi there,

Are you using the latest version of Spybot-S&D with the latest definitions?
Open Spybot Search & Destroy > Help > About and let us know the version.

If Spybot-S&D does not detect or remove an item and you can find the files, please zip or rar them and send to: detections@spybot.info

Either way, you have an infected computer so please follow the procedure in this link:
"BEFORE you POST"(READ this Procedure BEFORE Requesting Assistance)

Then start your own thread in the Malware Removal Forum where a helper will advise you when available.

    Best regards.

    Default Hesitant To Try

Well I haven't actually downloaded it yet. I wanted to see if it would help me with my problem before I committed to having it on my computer. Ya know? But I've been hearing good things about it from my friends, so I'll probably be downloading it in the next day or so.

You have an infected machine, sooner rather than later would be a good idea.
