    Default Question about resdient protector

Whenever I run "window washer" I'm promted to allow it,,I check off to allow it and to remember it next time,, but it seems to always ask me the next time I want to run it if I'll alllow it,,,heres the log.

4/14/2008 11:30:56 AM Allowed (based on user decision) value "washindex" (new data: "C:\Program Files\Washer\washidx.exe "Owner"") added in System Startup user entry!
4/14/2008 11:31:07 AM Allowed (based on user decision) value "washindex" (new data: "C:\Program Files\Washer\washidx.exe "Owner"") added in System Startup global entry!
4/14/2008 11:35:59 AM Allowed (based on user whitelist) value "washindex" (new data: "") deleted in System Startup user entry!
4/14/2008 11:36:02 AM Allowed (based on user whitelist) value "washindex" (new data: "") deleted in System Startup global entry!

I was wondering if theres anything else I can do to allow this to run without the prompt

    Hello,

You can switch to "automatically allow" or "automatically deny" a registry change when the pop-up window of the TeaTimer appears.
In order to do this you can tick the checkmark for "remember this decision".
Then TeaTimer will be acting automatically on this particular change without asking.

    Best regards

    Hello,

TeaTimer takes snapshots of Registry entries and compares these with the Registry at startup. Until these snapshots are updated you are likely to get pop-ups (at startup) of changes you made in the past. In other words, TeaTimer attempts to return the Registry to the state it was in when the snapshot was taken. This happens primarily when you reboot the system. To refresh TeaTimer's snapshot files:

    * Right click Spybot's TeaTimer System Tray Icon > click Exit Spybot-S&D Resident.
    o TeaTimer closes.
o TeaTimer's snapshot files are refreshed at this time.
    * Restart TeaTimer:
    o Using Windows Explorer, navigate to C:\Program Files\Spybot - Search & Destroy.
o Double click TeaTimer.exe to start it.

If you periodically recycle TeaTimer the problem will be diminished but not necessarily totally eliminated. As an alternative you can periodically just shut down TeaTimer as outlined above without restarting it just prior to shutting down the system to refresh the snapshot files.

The whitelist is the list for the changes you have allowed.

    Best regards
