Scanner Sharing over LAN

hi guys

i have 2 comps and wanted to know if there is a chance i can share the scanner between both via LAN.
The host computer (where the scanner is connected) works on Win 98 while the other which is the client computer (from where i wish to acess it too) is an XP PC. Please lemme know how i can share the scanner based on the info.
