4 months without "official patch"???????

I'm having a lot more problems with 1.4 version then just the teatimer, OK, I'm a newbie, but after uninstalling 1.3 and installing 1.4 I've got all kinds of problems, blue screen lock ups etc. After reading about others negative experiences, ( there are good ones too, but bad are just like mine), on CDETnet with 1.4...........................can anyone tell me how to find clean download of 1.3 to use until an "Official" usable 1.4 is released???

I'm looking through this thread, come on now, 4 months, there's got to be something else wrong here????? I've uninstalled all 1.4 I can find, and problems stopped.

I'm running on Pentium II 300 mhz with 384 RAM Win. 98se IE 6.0 with free versions of; Ad-ware, Zone Alarm, Registry Mechanic, and Pop-Up Stopper. NA 2005. Normally my resources show about 70% free. OK, I already know, this is old stuff, but life is a struggle sometimes. The 1.3 version worked flawlessly, except for the last 6 months of it's use,.. would find nothing wrong, when Ad-ware was finding 10-12 items a scan. And Registry Mechanic some more. The reason I updated to 1.4 was my suspicions, it could not be working correctly??????????
