Question Problem Upgrading to 1.4 in Win 95

Tried to upgrade from Spybot-Search & Destroy 1.3 to 1.4 but get message "The SPYBOT.EXE file is linked to missing export USER32.DLL:EndMenu" and "Undable to execute file: C:\Program Files\Spybot-Search&Destroy\SpybotSD.exe. Create process failed code 31. A device attached to the system is not functioning"? System hangs until 1.4 is uninstalled. S&D 1.3 had been working fine with Win 95, but now it's uninstalled and I can't get it back.

Here's a location to download the spybotsd13.exe installation program:

    Smile Thanks!

Thanks. That worked. My wife won't give up her Win 95 Dell laptop until I "pry it from her cold, dead hands".

If laptop is still functional, why add it to a landfill?

Referring to the initial post in this string -- Shortly after SSD 1.4 was released (last June as I recall) there were three similar errors documented for WIN95 and SSD 1.4 by me and one other person in the old forum at:
    http://forums.net-integration.net/in...howtopic=31140

Pepi acknowledged the problems and indicated they would be fixed . Any word on when they will be fixed?
