    Lightbulb No Undo/Redo for RegAlzer?

Why doesn't RegAlzer have a Undo/Redo capability. I was thinking it had one and that was why I downloaded it. I found out I was mistaken when I deleted the wrong key by mistake. It has a tab listing the changes made, but there is no way to copy the text elsewhere to make an REG file. That wouldn't be as good as a true Undo/Redo option, but given what is there...

You could just copy the contents into a text editor, save as something.reg there, then double-click it.

I agree though that a more comfortable way would be nice; added a feature request:
    Save/Apply buttons for change logs

You could just copy the contents
How? As stated, the clipboard commands didn't work. Standard Windows edit controls don't implement them for you.

    Who told you that?

Of course copy'n'paste works in the simpliest controls, and this isn't even a simple standard Windows edit, but a full "editor" (used as a viewer ) with line numbers and everything.

I just noticed that Ctrl+A doesn't work, but you can select the text manually then press Ctrl+C to copy the selected to clipboard, which works quite fine?

I see the latest version does have the Apply button. However, it appears to be an all or nothing affiair. I might need to restore just one entry. Also, I might have to restore that entry after rebooting. SImply restarting RegAlzer is enough to cause it to forget the list.

So you're basically asking for a persistent undo/redo list that is not in "text" (.reg) format but with items that can be selected one by one?

I very much like the current form since it allows you to pass changes made to friends, for example, but I can see your point. I did add this feature request for it.

    Thumbs up

Basically. I would suggest replacing the current form with a multi-select listbox. You would select the items you want. Copying them to the clipboard would have them appear as a REG file there.

It might also be a good idea to add a REG/INI/INF file editor.
