    Default Windows - No Disk

Running XP with SP3 and using Spybot for years. Not run check for about 3 weeks, so decided to run today. Downloaded recent updates including the optional ones and tried to run check but got Windows No Disk error message - C0000013 - 75b6bf7c etc. My hard drive is H: because the guy who built my machine made it H:, but looking around the 'help' forums it seems that this type of error is caused by sytem trying to access a disk drive with no disk in. Various solutions suggested, some are fairly drastic. But why should Spybot be trying to access a disk drive? Apart from today's Spybot updates, no recent major occurences except picking up some Windows security updates automatically and running System Mechanic to fix a hard drive error and a couple of Registry errors. All other programmes working fine. Any ideas please?

The problem is caused by Spybot not being installed in the Default C:/Programs Files directory.

See HERE, HERE and HERE for more infomation.
If it ain't broke, don't fix it!
