    Lightbulb thats correct

if you have windows me,98, or lower, you can only use version the latest version of 2x.

However, if you have windows 2000 or above, you can use firefox latest version 3x.

Ah. I wonder... why do some Operating Systems have windows like this:

I mean like the smaller box and the smaller font.

Does this occur on International Operating Systems?

I don't know, maybe smaller font feels less threatening? lol idk. I do believe its like that for all versions though. Been awhile since anyone posted here, thanks for starting it up again bud.

But Windows XP OS does not offer a font smaller than 'Normal'.

Just need to tweak the previous post:
I didn't meant smaller box, but the smaller title bar.

    Tavern is for general chat.

Another question, then we move to random food convos.

My Sony VAIO is factory built so it's like the way it is, it is not custom built by hand. My question is can I unscrew the screws and take out the "shell/casing"? I wanted to install more RAM, in addition to cleaning the inside.

ya you can with no problems. Just make sure you are grounded from static. touch the metal case of the computer every now and then to disallow static from frying your ram, etc.

Thanks for suggestion. I've been talking for a day now, about the specs of my system on another forum. Sad thing is that the technology in the machine is "dying", outdated technology. But it still runs, that's what counts...

to be truthful, most of the time when it comes to computers, (as well as ipods) it is out of date even if it was bought brand new. There are always new developments, and newer models that are released every year. It can become quite challenging to keep up with all this new tech. Most technology is out of date that the public has, the main point is that if the tech does what you want and need, then thats all that matters. Just like you said, as long as it runs, thats what counts.

Had SP3 installed on Automatic Updates. All I can say is.... great, although the computer slowed down for a few days. Everything is back to normal now. Thanks to drragostea and 129260 for clearing my doubts.
