Norton Ghost
I am lookin into Norton Ghost to make a new partition when I reformat but I am not very familiar with it and was just wondering what everyone thought of it? it seems like a great program but looks arn't everything...
also I want to partition my new drive so I dont have to go through all this hassle next time i want to reformat. what should go in a partition? a backup of everything or just the key programs?
sorry for the ignorance on this subject...
thanks for the help

It would be best if you buy an external HDD(hard disk drive) and backup everything(including the system files and registry settings) and update the contents of the backup periodically(like once a month or week). If a virus gets into the partition of the backup that is created in the same hard drive, I'm afraid that there is nothing you can do to retrieve the files then.
