Default Virtumonde and it's vicious friends

okay my antivirus AVG keeps saying I have various malware types. I've apparently gotten rid of them in a few different ways but they seem to be coming back. Either that or making new ones.
The day I got it/them was the 19th of June. The computer started slowing down after downloading a file from, which i now know is, a really dodgy site.
Then the browser has pop ups galore and trying to take me to websites I had not clicked. I stopped most of the windows (force of habit: I hate popups anyway) and straight away AVG says it's detected malware "Vundo" which I quarantined and then deleted. I also deleted the suspect file (put 2 and 2 together: new file has virus) But then it keeps on doing the popup thing, and won't let me use search engines such as google, yahoo, etc. Can't get to yahoo mail, can't get to blogs and forums. Internet has slowed considerably for most sites. Popups are pretty constant.

Luckily I have a mac as well and looked up the AVG warned malware: Vundo. Searched infected computer for malware with spybot. Found some stuff and deleted. Did it several times... but seems to keep coming back.

Thought i would try reverting to older system state and trying the malware search again. Looked at my system restores and They've all been deleted up until the 19th of June! It's deleted all my system restores: I made one on about the 8th of June when I installed a new sims pack. But that, and all the others I had are now gone!

Spybot has found and deleted lots of malware files. Some of which it has identified as Virtumonde. Some as other names and unamed generic malware. I've noticed a whole lot of newly installed DLL's in the system32 with random names like efcDTKdb.dll, djywsrbk.dll, frwypbrp.dll, khfFXpnm.dll, etc. (there are more) slowly these are all being identified by AVG and spybot as malware... but there seem to be more being made. When the first there efcDTKdb was detected and finally deleted by spybot explorer can now get to some search engines and spybot's forums. But not all search engines. I usually use firefox. and firefox seems completely crippled. No google, no yahoo, no facebook, limited blogs and no forums. Lots of sites just won't load. Spybot won't even get to the first page.
it just sits thinking for ages and then says the connection can't be made.

Now the last couple of times I've run spybot it's come up clean, but I still have some randomly named dll's in the system32 folder that have been created recently. And the browsers are still crippled.

    bdKTDcef.ini, bdKTDcef.ini2, kyojisiy.dll, hkatcciu.ini, oeagpejp.ini

    :all after the 19th

But not coming up in any sweeps.

this is my HJT after the last sweep of the whole computer with AVG and SPYBOT in SAFEMODE:

hope all of this information helps, and it's not just useless babble. Oh and the internet and hard drive seem to be running right now, for no reason.

    Default update: combofix not working

okay, saw some replies to other posting people and saw that you needed to turn off teatime... did that, restarted.
    Download combofix: did that
ran combofix. Didn't happen. after the security warning, pressed "run" to start the program, all good, the little green load bar happened but then it doesn't do anything. It looks like it quits and does nothing.

this virus is getting on my nerves

    Please Help!!!!!

    Hi

Please uninstall Spybot for now to make sure TeaTimer won't interfere fixing. You may reinstall it after system is clean

Download ATF (Atribune Temp File) Cleaner© by Atribune to your desktop.

Double-click ATF Cleaner.exe to open it

    Under Main choose:
    Windows Temp
    Current User Temp
    All Users Temp
    Cookies
    Temporary Internet Files
    Prefetch
    Java Cache

    *The other boxes are optional*
Then click the Empty Selected button.

    If you use Firefox:
Click Firefox at the top and choose: Select All
    Click the Empty Selected button.
NOTE: If you would like to keep your saved passwords, please click NO at the prompt.

    If you use Opera:
Click Opera at the top and choose: Select All
    Click the Empty Selected button.
NOTE: If you would like to keep your saved passwords, please click NO at the prompt.

Click Exit on the Main menu to close the program.

Please download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware to your desktop.

    • Double-click mbam-setup.exe and follow the prompts to install the program.
    • At the end, be sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish.
    • If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
    • Once the program has loaded, select Perform full scan, then click Scan.
    • When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
    • Be sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
    • When completed, a log will open in Notepad. Please save it to a convenient location. The log can also be found here: C:\Documents and Settings\Username\Application Data\Malwarebytes\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\Logs\log-date.txt
    • Please post contents of that file in your next reply.

    _____________

Delete ComboFix.exe file if you still have it.

    1. Download combofix from any of these links and save it to Desktop:
    Link 1
    Link 2
    Link 3

**Note: It is important that it is saved directly to your desktop**

    2. Double click combofix.exe & follow the prompts.
    3. When finished, it shall produce a log for you (C:\ComboFix.txt). Post that log & a fresh hjt log in your next reply

    Note:
Do not mouseclick combofix's window whilst it's running. That may cause it to stall

Combofix should never take more that 20 minutes including the reboot if malware is detected.
If it does, open Task Manager then Processes tab (press ctrl, alt and del at the same time) and end any processes of findstr, find, sed or swreg, then combofix should continue.
If that happened we want to know, and also what process you had to end.

If you have problems with Combofix usage, see here
