Default how to correctly install the new 1.6 version when released

    Good morning,

With the pending release of Spybot S&D 1.6 right around the corner I am trying to determine the correct way to install it.

Should I completely uninstall my current 1.5 version first or will the new version come with an option to just update to 1.6?

    Thanks and regards,

Problem is that if you manage to install the new version over the old one, there might be a problem because there will be two Spybot-SD entries in the ADD/REMVOE PROGRAMS window.

Since v.1.4 there has been a "program update" via the integrated updater. However, I would suggest you go the extra step to prevent confusion and install Spybot-SD 1.6 manually.
