Ok. My fault. Have copied the wrong path.
Ok. My fault. Have copied the wrong path.
Here are the correct paths:
Windows XP:
The error in the blog wasn't fixed yet.Code:cd c:\Windows\system32\config (enter) copy c:\Windows\repair\software software (enter) copy c:\Windows\repair\default default (enter) copy c:\Windows\repair\sam sam (enter) copy c:\Windows\repair\system system (enter) copy c:\Windows\repair\software software (enter) copy c:\Windows\repair\security security (enter)
Try this:
(enter)Code:C:
(enter)Code:cd Windows\system32\config
Haver just tried on my system and it works.

Can you compare these with your boot cd?
Folders:
boot
custom
dosapps
images
isolinux
menus
syslinux
tools
website
Files:
autorun.inf
boot.catalog
ubcd.ico
I cannot find my old ultimate boot CD without Windows PE environment.
Could it be possible that c: isn't your default system folder? What happend if you enter
C:
and hit the enter key. This should change the drive from a: to c:
P.S.: C: has to be your system folder because you have use them in the recovery console as well.
A: was the standard drive letter in DOS if you boot from a disk. Why am i getting A: instead of C: and how do i get there

Thanks, it seems to be a problem with the burning process. It finally works. What about you? Was you able to change the directory now?
