Default Comodo Firewall running with Spybot

I am considering using Comodo firewall which has been recommended on this forum. However, its manual suggests that it includes a function very similar to tea-timer, and I wondered if there is any conflict between the two (having read elsewhere that you should only have one malware blocker active).

    Any advice/experiences/opinions ?

They will not conflict. TeaTimer and Comodo Pro's Defense + are both IPS (Intrusion Prevention System), which monitor changes and prompts the user on a change. TeaTimer monitors critical registry keys such as a startup item, changed homepage, new BHO's, etc. Defense + actions are similar to what TeaTimer does.

The general idea is that they will not conflict, unless they are both real-time protection Resident Shields.

You find more information about Defense + if you search in the Comodo forums.

I have been running XP-PRO SP3 together with COMODO for over a month without problem.
