Hi,

This is for my next door neighbours computer. When opening Firefox/Internet Explorer, and using Google often when you click on a link (for example BBC news), the browser will redirect numerous times to different sites, before stopping on one (presumably when browser redirect ends?).

When loading up Google as a homepage, the bottom left of the page continues to go through waiting for www.google.co.uk and then connected to google.co.uk. It never actually reaches the page, and comes up with the error

Redirect Loop -
Redirection limit for this URL exceeded. Unable to load the requested page. This may be caused by cookies that are blocked.,

The couple had Norton installed, after installing Avast it found 6 virus'.

Spybot then found 35, which were all 'fixed'.

I'm coming to this forum as a last resort!
