hi I too have the virtuemonde.dll virus from hell
s&d detects three of them, I've managed to get it to remove one. I was on a post from infected in texas, but then realized I cannot use the same information to fix mine, since we have different items on our computers. this is the file from the hijackthis program:

I have no icons or a start menu or the taskbar I have to open everything through the windows control panel on (ctrl,alt,delete) I've been to housecall antivirus online and it didn't detect anything. I don't want to lose my son's photos and videos of his life. I don't have any 'backed up'
