    Default Incomplete immunization

After downloading and installing SBS&D and being UNABLE to connect to the update server using the program, I immunized my PC. EVERYTHING was immunized.

I went to the SBS&D website and downloaded and installed the current updates directly. So far, so good....

HOWEVER, after updating manually, I immunized again and 2,365 files could not be protected. These were Windows Internet Explorer files and "Global Host" files.

I read some of the other related posts and found advice on how to uncheck and reload the Hosts lists.

What can I tweak or change to get 100% immunization? Is it necessary?

    Thanks,

    Louis

I'm running a Dell PC Pentium 4 with Windows XP (SP3), 3gigs of SDRAM, etc. My IP is AT&T/Yahoo, high-speed DSL.

    Default Incomplete immunization

I neglected to mention that my active protection includes:
Spyware Blaster, AVAST, and WinPatrol. Also, AT&T/SBC has its own security settings that MAY account for the incomplete immunization. I'm guessing that is the issue -- the IP doesn't want their files and programs "immunized" by a third party.

    What do you think?
