Internet connection problem
Sorry, have no idea is this is correct place to post. I have been unable to connect to internet for several days now. Spent hours on phone with dsl server to no avail. First it was my netopia adaptor which was replaced and helped not at all . Now according to them, its my computer.
I have a desktop dell directly connected to a 2wire wireless modem and a laptop with a wireless card, both of which work fine. The 2nd desktop will not connect. Running windows xp. have only 0.0.0.0 for IP address and for subnet mask. modem says "acquiring network address". Appreciate any help!
