    How do we use the search function to search by user name? I'm trying to locate my previous questions to see if any answers appeared, but can't search for my user name because the search widget doesn't appear to include user names in the search.

    I can catch answers to this question by writing down the time posted and going to that date, but it's a primitive method: if I lose my post-it note, I'm hooped.

    click on your username above your avatar, and view profile and click then on statistics then you will find your posts.

    Also if you do an "Advanced Search" there is a "Search by User Name" option.

    Getting an answer is one thing, learning is another.

    Thanks for the clue. It now seems obvious, but if you hadn't shown me, I'd never have guessed :-)
