i got hit with surfsidekick as well as some other "survey" program. ive gotten rid of most of everything (accept surfsidekick.)

before i get instructions on how to get rid of it (as they are posted everywhere), popups arent my problem.

my problem is NOW my network connection. im on a different computer than the infected one, that is because my computer can no longer renew its ip address.

ive sat down with this problem for over 2 hours trying everything, and im spent.

i have no idea what the...well what to do. i KNOW it was this spyware i caught, i still have processes running, but ill deal with those later. first i want my internet back!

if you guys can offer any advice i would greatly appreciate it.
