I tried to shred a dll that would not delete. When I use shredder it replaces that file with a new file named with random letters. How do I really shred these stuck DLLs?

You can not delete (or shread) a dll file that is in use.
One way to find out what process is using the dll:
- Download Process Explorer from the following Web page:
- Process Explorer
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/s.../bb896653.aspx- Extract the downloaded ProcessExplorer.zip file.
- Execute procexp.exe.
- After Process Explorer starts, in the Find menu select Find Handle or DLL.
- Type the name of the dll in the Handle or DLL Substring entry area and press enter.
