Delete C:\TempEI4 folder.

Also, delete following files:
C:\WINDOWS\scmate.ini
C:\WINDOWS\DeskTopBird_K.ini
C:\WINDOWS\SYMGAMES.INI

If that part goes well then it's time to get rid of those in system restore and QooBox folder.


1. Turn off System Restore.
On the Desktop, right-click My Computer.
Click Properties.
Click the System Restore tab.
Check Turn off System Restore.
Click Apply, and then click OK.

2. Reboot.

3. Turn ON System Restore.
On the Desktop, right-click My Computer.
Click Properties.
Click the System Restore tab.
UN-Check *Turn off System Restore*.
Click Apply, and then click OK.


Now lets uninstall ComboFix:
  • Click START then RUN
  • Now type Combofix /u in the runbox and click OK



After that please run Kaspersky online scanner and post back its report & a fresh hjt log.
