This is a simple batch file to clear the TeaTimer memory, try this:
http://downloads.subratam.org/ResetTeaTimer.bat <<< right click that link and choose "Save Target As".

    Save in: Desktop

now click it file or double click it, it will all happen in a second, you will not see it. Then continue with the rest of the instructions.

    Thanks

Everything appears to be back to normal. When I reboot I don't get the rundll error message anymore.
I have installed the Avast antivirus program and ran it. It got rid of some trojans that I think were in a quarantined folder.

If all is well... do I reinstall Spybot-SD resident again?

Hold off a bit longer, let's do this now.

Remove combofix from the computer like this:

    Click START then RUN
Now type or copy Combofix /u in the runbox and click OK.
Note the space between the X and the U, it needs to be there.

Clean System Restore files like this:

    Turn off System Restore.
On the Desktop, right-click My Computer.
    Click Properties.
    Click the System Restore tab.
    Check Turn off System Restore.
Click Apply, and then click OK.

    Reboot

    Turn ON System Restore,
On the Desktop, right-click My Computer.
    Click Properties.
    Click the System Restore tab.
    UN-Check *Turn off System Restore*.
Click Apply, and then click OK.

Update Avast and scan the system to be sure it is scanning clean.

Here is information about Spybot S&D/TeaTimer you should review prior to reinstalling. TeaTimer prompts about both good items and bad and you need to know how to respond.

When you are ready, I provided a download link. Install Spybot S&D and update the program.
    http://www.safer-networking.org/en/howto/update.html
Make sure you are totally immunized, then run a scan and remove anything it finds. Now turn on TeaTimer if you wish to run it. If all is well at this point, let me know and I will close your topic.

    OK...

I followed your instructions and ran the Avast Virus check (took a long time) and it found a virus.

    Here is the info:

    -----
    Virus has been detected!
    File Name: fonts-a.exe
    Virus Description: Win32:Trojan-gen {Other}
    -----

Avast moved it to the chest.

I will now install and run SpyBot.

    OK...

Spybot installed, checked and immunised. No threats found. Spybot-SD Resident also installed.

I rebooted and no more error messages appeared. When I search for something on Google I am no longer taken hostage to a pseudo website.

All in all it looks as though everything is back to normal. If this is the case, thank you very much for your time and keep up the good work.

    Thanks
    Brian
