Updates are never completing

My updates just keep loading, loading, loading.

I even tried downloading the available 'group' of updates, one at a time, first trying to donload "advanced detection library", "detection rules", "detection support library" and then "english descriptions", but each time an error of "bad checksum" appears.

Plus, when trying to download the entire group, this seems to corrupt the entire program because clicking "cancel" does nothing at all (the file downloading animation just keeps going and going) and even trying to close SB S&D is to use task manager and choose "end program".

Seems SB S&D needs a file checker to let users know the software is broken, or did "cancel" update ever work? Or could this be simply too few resources for updating the masses and there too SB S&D needs to program something to automatically and/or manually enable canceling of updates?

Appreciate some help here as last time I wrote into SB S&D they said to try reinstalling SB S&D, which did nothing to fix the update issue.
