spybotsd_includes question

I have been infected with malware, I am trying to use S&D to tackle it but have had real problems.

Firstly it took many times to get it to install, it won't connect to the update server at all. So eventually I realised to untick the automatic update.

Then I could not get the initial definition files, the update button on S&D is not working. So I manually downloaded the includes.exe from this site and ran that.

I then tried to scan but it only scanned for "bot-check" in my browser bookmarks. It did not scane for anything else. Is that because the includes.exe only has the recent updates? If so, where can I get a complete file of all the scan definitions?

I may have sorted this, installed S&D on a clean pc, then copied the updates DIR to the infected one. seems to be checking more stuff now.
