computer rebooting during s&d scan

Wondering if one of you could please help me out? My spybot scan makes it about 1/3 of the way through and then it just reboots my computer. I had the older version, and have tried reinstalling the latest spybot and it still continues to do the same thing. I am using XP.
Not sure what else to add, but if someone would like to offer some suggestions it would be much appreciated!

I am not saying that issue is the cause of your particular problem but let us know if anything in that topic rings a bell.
