SpyBot doesn't catch it all....

Sometimes I just wish that Microsloth wouldn't make windblows so damn insecure. Ah, well, it can't be helped.

Anyway, here's my question: Spybot is great, but obviously it doesn't catch everything. I have AVG, Ad-Aware, Spybot, with help from Hijack This, and still get a bad one once in a while. My question is this: are there any other credible anti-virus/anti-spyware applications that I can trust? Every time I see a "get rid of spyware" application, I get worried that it might be a rogue...most of them are. And after having been plagued with Spyware Quake, I don't want to deal with any more rogues. So if you have any suggestions, they would be much appreciated.

Your helper will most likely have suggestions for you,later on,for prevention,etc.
