I have just installed the latest version of S&D on my new net-book.
When I click on a movie file, S&D does a scan of the file - I want to open the movie file to view it.
How do I turn off this action??

If you right click on the file and select "Open" the file should open with what ever program you have set that file extention type to open with.
To fix the problem and still keep the "Scan using Spybot-Search&Destroy" option in the right click context menu try this suggestion posted by matt Humphreys in:
