  • A file with an unknown location named "lamef4cg.exe".
  • A file with an unknown location named "o-kokh4u.exe".
  • A file with an unknown location named "tbeswd07.exe".
  • The file at "<$SYSDIR>\msvol.tlb".
  • The file at "<$SYSDIR>\mscornet.exe".
  • The file at "<$SYSDIR>\msvol.tlb".
  • The file at "<$SYSDIR>\ncompat.tlb".
  • The file at "<$SYSDIR>\nvctrl.exe".
  • The file at "<$SYSDIR>\mssearchnet.exe".
  • The file at "<$SYSDIR>\ot.ico".
  • The file at "<$SYSDIR>\ts.ico".
Make sure you set your file manager to display hidden and system files. If Vcodec uses rootkit technologies, use our RootAlyzer or our Total Commander anti-rootkit plugins.
You will have to use a global search for files without a name specified. Be extra careful, because just the name might not be enough to identify files!

Important: There are more files that cannot be safely described in simple words. Please use Spybot-S&D to remove them.

Folders:

  • Remove "<$SYSDIR>\mssearchnet.exe" from registry value "kernel32.dll" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\policies\explorer\run\".
  • Delete the registry key "{27150f81-0877-42e9-af13-55e5a3439a26}" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Browser Helper Objects\".
  • Delete the registry key "{27150F81-0877-42E9-AF13-55E5A3439A26}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\".
  • Delete the registry key "{e0103cd4-d1ce-411a-b75b-4fec072867f4}" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Browser Helper Objecta\".
  • Delete the registry key "{E0103CD4-D1CE-411A-B75B-4FEC072867F4}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\".
  • Delete the registry key "{e0103cd4-d1ce-411a-b75b-4fec072867f4}" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Browser Helper Objects\".
  • Delete the registry key "{724510C3-F3C8-4FB7-879A-D99F29008A2F}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\".
  • Delete the registry key "{724510c3-f3c8-4fb7-879a-d99f29008a2f}" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Browser Helper Objects\".
  • Delete the registry key "{7CAF96A2-C556-460A-988E-76FC7895D284}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\".
  • A key in HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\ named "NVideoCodek.Chl", plus associated values.
If Vcodec uses rootkit technologies, use our RegAlyzer, RootAlyzer or our Total Commander anti-rootkit plugins.
