  • Remove "<$PROGRAMFILES>\Media-Codec" from registry value "Path" at "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Internet Security\".
  • Remove "<$PROGRAMFILES>\Media-Codec" from registry value "Path" at "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Protection Tools\".
  • Remove "<$PROGRAMFILES>\Media-Codec" from registry value "Path" at "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Security Tools\".
  • Remove "<$PROGRAMFILES>\Media-Codec" from registry value "Path" at "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Online Add-on\".
  • Delete the registry key "AVZipEnchancer.Chl" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\".
  • Delete the registry key "VSEnchancer.Chl" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\".
  • Delete the registry key "zcodec.exe" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\App Paths\".
  • Delete the registry key "EMediaCodec.Chl" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\".
  • Remove "<$PROGRAMFILES>\Media-Codec\ecodec.exe" from registry value "" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\App Paths\ecodec.exe\".
  • Remove "<$PROGRAMFILES>\Video iCodec\vcodec.exe" from registry value "" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\App Paths\vcodec.exe\".
  • Delete the registry key "ecodec.exe" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\App Paths\".
If Vcodec.eMedia uses rootkit technologies, use our RegAlyzer, RootAlyzer or our Total Commander anti-rootkit plugins.
