Threat Details:

  • malware

When started, the application deletes the "System" and "System32" directories, the "SystemCertificates" directories of the users, "\Shared Folder\System" and the "pchealth" directory. It redirects hosts of anti-spyware vendors and deletes the system.ini file. If the computer is infected with this malware, reinstallation of system components is required. A variant of Win32.Rbot.gen copies an executable file into the System directory, starts itself in autorun as "FrameWork 2.5" and tries to connect to the internet in background without giving the user a possibility to cancel that process.
Supposed Functionality:
Officially known as a Trojan with Backdoor functions.
Removal Instructions:

Please use Spybot-S&D, RunAlyzer or msconfig.exe to remove the following autorun entries.
