The following instructions have been created to help you to get rid of "Win32.Bifrost" manually.

Bifrost v1.1/v1.2d is a RAT (Remote Administration Tool) that allows its (remote) controller to take control over the infected system. It copies itself to the system or Windows directory and tries to connect to the Internet in order to await commands from the attacker. Other Bifrost versions start and log within randomly named directories.
Removal Instructions:


Please use Spybot-S&D, RunAlyzer or msconfig.exe to remove the following autorun entries.
  • Entries named "IExplorer_" and pointing to "C:\windows\system\Exporer32.exe".


Important: There are more files that cannot be safely described in simple words. Please use Spybot-S&D to remove them.
