Running all the time while you are online; no monitoring if program is not running nearly implies monitoring while it does. For this, an executable is placed in the Autostart folder.
And they take the right to give away all registration information.
Supposed Functionality:
Searches harddisk for porn contents.

Several PROMOTIONAL CONSOLES (daughter console/interstitial) may be launched for the duration of time you spend online. These consoles may continue to be launched as long as you have PurityScan installed on your machine. PurityScan does not monitor the activities or collect information from users once they have left PurityScan.
We may use customer contact information from the registration form to send the user information about our company and promotional material from some of our partners. The customer's contact information may also be used to contact the visitor when necessary and shared with other companies who may want to contact our visitors. Demographic and profile information may also be used to tailor the visitor's experience at our site, showing them content that we think might interest them. We may disclose information you enter during the join process to third parties.

You can try to uninstall products with the names listed below; for items identified by other properties or to avoid malware getting active again on uninstallation, use Spybot-S&D or RunAlyzer to locate and get rid of these entries.
  • Products that have a key or property named "Yazzle1395Oin".
  • Products that have a key or property named "Y1304Oin".

Files:

Please use Windows Explorer or another file manager of your choice to locate and delete these files.
  • The file at "<$WINDIR>\msiexec.exe".
  • A file with an unknown location named "msiexec.exe".
  • The file at "<$LOCALSETTINGS>\Temp\OA.exe".
  • The file at "<$WINDIR2>\Downloaded Program Files\speedtest2.dll".
  • A file with an unknown location named "Yinstall.exe".
Make sure you set your file manager to display hidden and system files. If PurityScan uses rootkit technologies, use our RootAlyzer or our Total Commander anti-rootkit plugins.
You will have to use a global search for files without a name specified. Be extra careful, because just the name might not be enough to identify files!

Important: There are more files that cannot be safely described in simple words. Please use Spybot-S&D to remove them.

Registry:

You can use regedit.exe (included in Windows) to locate and delete these registry entries.
  • Delete the registry key "{B6B48A75-8197-4942-93E2-48C6095E5CE1}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\AppID\".
  • Delete the registry key "{E055C02E-6258-40FF-80A7-3BDA52FACAD7}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\".
  • Delete the registry key "{66FEE885-B9B5-48A2-9876-719964C1AD86}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Interface\".
  • A key in HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\ named "ToolbarInst.Installer", plus associated values.
  • A key in HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\ named "ToolbarInst.Installer.1", plus associated values.
  • Delete the registry key "{6708E89B-9603-449B-964D-977BA6C29EAC}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\TypeLib\".
  • Delete the registry key "{E055C02E-6258-40FF-80A7-3BDA52FACAD7}" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Code Store Database\Distribution Units\".
  • References to the file "<$WINDIR>/Downloaded Program Files/speedtest2.dll" at HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\ModuleUsage\.
  • References to the file "<$WINDIR>/Downloaded Program Files/speedtest2.dll" at HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\SharedDlls\.
If PurityScan uses rootkit technologies, use our RegAlyzer, RootAlyzer or our Total Commander anti-rootkit plugins.
