Description:
This startup entry is started automatically in Autorun in the registry, copies itself to the system folder without giving the user a possibility to cancel that process. Also downloads and installs Smitfraud-C., Huntbar, Tango etc.
Removal Instructions:

Desktop:

Please remove the following files from your desktop.
To check where they are pointing to, right-click them and choose "Properties" from the context menu appearing.
  • Shortcuts named "SystemDoctor 2006.lnk" and pointing to "SystemDoctor 2006 Free\sd2006.exe".

Quicklaunch area:

Please remove the following items from your start quick launch area text to the "Start" button in the taskbar at the bottom.
To check where they are pointing to, right-click them and choose "Properties" from the context menu appearing.
  • Quicklaunch symbols named "SystemDoctor 2006.lnk" and pointing to "<$PROGRAMFILES>\SystemDoctor 2006 Free\sd2006.exe*".

Autorun:

Please use Spybot-S&D, RunAlyzer or msconfig.exe to remove the following autorun entries.

  • Delete the registry key "Swartax" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Services\".
