The following instructions have been created to help you to get rid of "Win32.Agent.sxi" manually.

Threat Details:

The Trojan Win32.Agent.sxi spreads by a file named autorun.inf that copies several malware files to all connected devices like usb drives. Additionally it copies some malicious files to the system directory of the operating system and tries to hide these files. Once the computer is infected with Win32.Agent.sxi it will run very slowly.
Removal Instructions:


Important: There are more files that cannot be safely described in simple words. Please use Spybot-S&D to remove them.


You can use regedit.exe (included in Windows) to locate and delete these registry entries.
  • Delete the registry key "{14625ABE-6466-4812-9013-5FA2C6D9930E}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\".
  • Delete the registry key "{369C677C-C332-48F9-9828-385820C9F1B5}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\".
  • Delete the registry key "{C20013A7-946D-4AAA-A297-DA9C4D603E4C}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\".
  • Delete the registry key "StrtdCfg" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\".
If Win32.Agent.sxi uses rootkit technologies, use our RegAlyzer, RootAlyzer or our Total Commander anti-rootkit plugins.
