The trojan installs a service in order to run at system startup. This file connects to the internet in background and is able to communicate with other servers to receive orders.

  • The file at "<$SYSDIR>\diperto.ini".
  • The file at "<$SYSDIR>\<$REGMATCH1>.sys".
Make sure you set your file manager to display hidden and system files. If Win32.Zhelatin.vg uses rootkit technologies, use our RootAlyzer or our Total Commander anti-rootkit plugins.
You will have to use a global search for files without a name specified. Be extra careful, because just the name might not be enough to identify files!
